We’d like to invite you to our first networking & pizza social with the undergraduate group UO Women in STEM and the UO Postdoc Association from 4-6 PM on Wednesday, November 20th in the Gerlinger Alumni Lounge. This event is a fantastic opportunity to meet scientists across different career stages, learn about different paths in science, and connect with our fellow UO researchers! Research: I use single-molecule fluorescence microscopy to study the structure of RNA, specifically a long non-coding RNA implicated in heart disease. Alongside my single-molecule work, I also use more traditional biochemical methods to look at similar questions.
