Who: This open classroom provides an equity professional development opportunity for faculty and k-12 teachers with a focus on anti-oppressive, restorative, and inclusive curriculum and pedagogy.

What: This forum was created to provide teaching faculty with professional learning communities in units across the UO and among the partnering school districts of the UOTeach: Teaching Licensure Program. The learning focus for this project is centered on advancing research-based practices of instruction and content centered on equity and anti-oppressive pedagogy.

Where: Interested parties can preview the three textual options.  Once you have selected a text you will register to join a study circle here.

When: There are only three key dates necessary to be part of this project. 1.) Selecting a text and registering for the project 2.) Attending the anti-oppressive kick off event. 3.) Attending your study circle discussion. 4.) Attending the UOTeach-In annual conference.

How: The study circle format will revolve around selected texts and center discussions and personal goals on readings focused on equity analysis of classroom community norms, course content, culturally sustaining instruction, student assessments and addressing content standards.
