Hello social justice educators,
On December 2, 2017 UOTeach will hold our second annual TEACH-IN. This one-day event is a collaboration with UOTeach, district equity partners, and the ODE Equity Unit in which K-12 teachers share resources, practices, and examples from their everyday work to bring together the best of culturally sustaining instructional theories and everyday classroom teacher practice.
We have prepared a draft proposal worksheet to help you prepare your session submission. Once you have decided on what you would like to share in a session, please submit an online Teach-IN proposal submission form for the December 2, 2017.
Please indicate your instruction grade-level, subject area focus, and social justice keywords for your proposal. The submission system will allow us to create an inclusive program for the event. And it is our hope that it will also help your social justice teaching colleagues find you to connect during session on December 2nd.
