A piece for two flashlights and video analysis software, created during a residency at Sichuan Conservatory of Music after a massive 7.9 magnitude earthquake struck the province. I saw tremendous acts of human courage, bravery and heroism as the Suchuan residents picked one another up, and through their tears attacked the enormous challenges posed by the quake with amazing optimism and determination.
