SPRING AUDITIONS ON SATURDAY, JUNE 1ST!
Mind the Gap fans, friends, family, and all other lovely human beings,
Spring is springing, flowers are blooming, allergies are commencing, and yet another school year closes. Which means that Mind the Gap is ready to renew and revamp their killer sounds and gutwrenching chords! And what better way to renew and revamp than holding Spring Auditions?
The sign up sheet will be posted at 11:30am on June 1st and the first round of auditions will be at 12pm. Come to the UO School of Music lobby prepared with 2 contrasting solo pieces (each about 60 seconds in length) that show off the strengths of your voice.
If you receive a callback, it will be held the next day (Sunday June 2). Call backs are usually variable in timelength, so try to keep your Sunday mostly open. More details will be given as the day gets closer!

P.S. We don’t say this to discourage any young ladies who are thinking about auditioning… However, we will only be losing one female this year. On the flip side, we will be losing every Mind the Gap man (men: buck up and show us watcha got!). It is not impossible to get in the group as a female, and we will still listen to your solos just as fairly. But know that, even if you have an amazing voice, we are lacking room in the female department.
