Dan Rayfield was elected representative of District 16 in 2015.
Rep. Rayfield has been a commissioner on the board of the Linn-Benton Housing Authority and a member on the New Roots Housing Board.
Rep. Rayfield is an attorney with Nelson MacNeil Rayfield. He was previously president of the Linn-Benton Bar Association, as well as the Linn County Peer Court Judge.
District 16 covers the cities of Corvallis and Philomath. It includes the OSU main campus and a Hewlitt Packard campus.

Elizabeth Steiner Hayward was appointed to the Oregon Senate in 2011.
Steiner Hayward worked as a physician and is an adjunct associate professor in the Department of Family Medicine at Oregon Health and Science University. She served as director of the Breast health Education Program at the OHSU Cancer Institute (now the Knight Cancer Institute) from 2007 to 2015.
Senate District 17 covers northwest Portland and Beaverton.
Steiner Hayward and her husband Michael have three daughters, one who is a Harvard University graduate and now lives in Chicago, one who currently attends Macalester College, and one who lives with her partner in northeast Portland.
