Ricki Ruiz was elected to serve District 50 in 2020.

Ricki was born in Portland and raised in Gresham. Proudly being raised by immigrant parents who made Oregon their forever home. Growing up, Ricki attended the Reynolds School District and became the first to graduate high school in his family in 2012. He was also the first in his family to graduate from college.

In 2017. Ricki was elected as the youngest school board member in the Reynolds School District at age 22 and was re-elected again in 2019.

District 50 includes a portion Multnomah County.

B.S Geography and Political Science; University of Oregon, M.A. Geography; University of Oregon, PhD, Portland State University.

Chris Gorsek was elected senator of District 25 in 2020.

Sen. Gorsek serves on the Senate Committee on Education; serves as Co-Chair on the Joint Committee on Ways and Means; serves on the Joint Committee on Public Safety Subcommittee; and serves on the Joint Committee on Transportation.

Gorsek teaches geography and criminal justice at Mt. Hood Community College. He was a police officer with the Portland Police bureau for seven years.
District 25 covers parts of Multnomah County, including most of Portland’s eastern suburbs.
