Paul Holvey was elected to serve District 8 in 2004.

Holvey is serving as the House Speaker Pro Tempore.

Before his career in public service, Rep. Holvey began as a carpentry apprentice before becoming a journeyman in the United Brotherhood of Carpenters. He has worked for various contractors in Oregon, Washington, California and Alaska as a carpenter, foreman and project superintendent. He also has previous experience in real estate sales and appraisal, as well as construction contracting. Rep. Holvey is a retired representative for the Pacific Northwest Carpenters – part of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters.

District 8 covers parts of south and west Eugene, including the communities of Noti, Elmira, Veneta, and Walton.

Holvey lives in Eugene with his wife Terrie. His son Justin and his wife Carla have a lively daughter named Natalie and an adorable son named Kyle.

Tina Kotek was elected to serve District 44 in 2006.

Kotek previously worked as policy director for non-profit advocacy organization Children First for Oregon. She was also a public policy advocate for Oregon Food Bank. Kotek played a large role in the creation of the Early Learning Council under Gov. Kitzhaber, as well as maintaining funding for the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families Program. She is a member of the Healthy Kids Learn Better Coalition, as well as the ONE VOICE for Child Care Coalition.

In 2013, Rep. Kotek became the first openly lesbian speaker of any state house in the nation.

Rob Nosse – The National Academy for State Health Policy

Rob Nosse was elected representative of House District 42 in 2014.

Rep. Nosse is Vice-Chair of the House Committee on Behavioral Health and Co-Chair of the Joint Committee on Ways and Means Subcommittee on Human Services. He also serves on the Joint Committee on Ways and Means.

Rep. Nosse served as Executive Director of the Oregon Student Association, and is currently a labor organizer with the Oregon Nurses Association. He previously worked as a labor organizer for SEIU Local 49.

House District 42 covers parts of central southeast Portland, including the neighborhoods of Hawthorne, Brooklyn, and Woodstock.

Rep. Nosse lives with his husband, Jim. They have two adult children.
