John Lively - Ballotpedia

John Lively was elected to serve District 12 in 2012.

Lively was previously Mayor of Springfield, as well as a member of the Springfield City Council. He served on the boards of the Lane Workforce Partnership, Friends of Willamalane, McKenzie Willamette Hospital, Western Rivers Girl Scout Council, Strong Schools for Springfield, United Way, SCAR Jasper Mountain, and Friends of Lane Community College and many more. He also helped form the Eugene/Springfield Metropolitan Partnership.

Lively worked in manufacturing and management at the state and local level, focusing on economic development.  He served in the U.S. Army Security Agency during the Vietnam War.

District 12 covers most of Springfield, and extends east to include Thurston.

Lively lives in Springfield with his wife, Tresa. They have two daughters and grandchildren.

Marty Wilde was elected to serve District 11 in 2018.

Wilde serves as a Colonel in the Oregon Air National Guard. He previously served as Executive Director of the Lane County Medical Society has worked in a family law practice in Eugene and as a Deputy District Attorney in Albany. He is an active community volunteer, serving as a member of the Eugene Police Commission, Eugene City Budget Committee, President of the City Club of Eugene, and the Executive Committee of the Democratic Party of Lane County.

Wilde has accrued 25 years of military service, during which he served as Chief, Rule of Law in Afghanistan, helping to rebuild the Afghan justice system, and he was awarded a Bronze Star for his service.

House District 11 stretches from the University of Oregon south through Eugene, down to Creswell, around Pleasant Hill, east of Springfield, and into central Linn County; it includes incorporated cities Brownsville, Coburg, Creswell, Halsey and Harrisburg. The district includes the University of Oregon’s main campus.

Wilde lives in Eugene with his wife, Monique, and two children.

Lee Beyer was first elected to the Senate in 1998, and served until 2001 when Gov. Kitzhaber asked him to join the Oregon Public Utility Commission. Beyer was elected senator of District 6 in 2010.

Beyer was previously a state representative in the Oregon Legislature. Before that, he was Springfield City Councilor from 1986-1993, and he was on the Springfield Planning Commission from 1978 to 1986. He has served as Governor’s Appointee to several task forces including the Juvenile Crime Prevention Commission and the Oregon Progress Board Benchmark Evaluation Task Force. He also has served on numerous other local, state, regional, and national boards.

Beyer was formerly the Executive Director for the Metro Partnership, Inc. He also previously worked as a small business advocate and development consultant. Additionally, in the mid- 1970s he was a management analyst with the Oregon Executive Department.

District 6 covers Springfield and part of southeast Eugene, including the UO campus. It also includes Coburg, Halsey, Mohawk, Brownsville, and Sodaville. Beyer lives in Springfield with his wife, Terrie, a former state representative. They have three children.
