2021 CONNECTION

One of ASU’s most ambitious events was 2021 CONNECTION: a virtual conference about adoption. Over the course of two days in Spring 2021, over 100 attendees from all over the world came together to connect and learn about adoptee experiences.

In collaboration with four other student-led adoptee groups, ASU was proud to feature Angela Tucker as the Keynote Speaker, a film screening of “Geographies of Kinship,” a Director Q&A with filmmaker Deann Borshay Liem and film protagonists Kim Stoker and Estelle Cooke-Sampson, student-led workshops, and a panel discussion with Ming Canaday, Astrid Castro, and Lynelle Long.
