The Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program seeks to support and advance faculty-mentored undergraduate research and creative scholarship at the University of Oregon. The emphasis on ‘faculty-mentored’ is an important distinction in that it demonstrates our belief that faculty involvement and mentorship is a crucial component of high-quality undergraduate scholarship.
It is through this framework that we think strategically about the resources, services and programming that we provide to students.
UROP is dedicated to working with faculty from every discipline that are interested in supporting and advancing undergraduate research and creative scholarship at the UO. This belief is reflected in our values and will be demonstrated through our partnerships.
