Eight UO undergraduate students have been selected as recipients of the UROP Mini-grant award. Open to students from all academic disciplines, the award provides financial support to undergraduates conducting research, creative scholarship or work on an innovative project. The eight Mini-grant recipients were selected from a pool of applications coming from a range of majors including biology, journalism, English, ethnic studies, earth sciences, international studies and human physiology.

The winter 2017 Mini-grant Awardees are Aleiya Evison (ethnic studies), Anisha Adke (biology), Emma Silverman (human physiology), Geena Littel (earth sciences), Hao Tan and Colin Lipps (human physiology), Kendra Siebert (advertising & journalism), Merida Mehaffey (history) and Rhaine Clarke (international studies).
