The Council on Undergraduate Research just announced the application dates for the 21st annual Poster on the Hill event in Washington, D.C. This is a competitive event, giving students the opportunity to showcase their research to congressional members, meet with their representatives, and learn about advocacy for undergraduate research.
As a CUR Institutional Member, University of Oregon students are eligible to apply to this event.
During the 2015-2016 academic year UO undergraduate physics and mathematics major Manju Bangalore was selected for Posters on the Hill.

Application Timeline:
- Application opens: Wednesday, September 7, 2016
- Application closes: Wednesday, November 2, 2016. Portal closes at 11:59PM EST.
- Notification of selection: early February 2017
- Posters on the Hill Event: TBD, date will be set once the congressional calendar is in place
