UpStaged’s National DJ Competition is a new event, open to college students in good standing, enrolled at a college or university in the US. DJs win cash and prizes, represent their schools, and a donation is made for winners, too, to the student’s favorite social justice charity.
For more information, their website is www.upStagedu.com. The DJ ‘battle’ takes place in the next few months.
Don’t miss submission deadlines! Check out www.upstagedu.com to pre-register today.
UpStaged Entertainment Group ™, and the National Collegiate Performing Arts (NCPA) is hosting the NCPA DJ College DJ Championship for a National Championship prize money and each DJ’s select social justice charity. This is the biggest ever college DJ championship and 1st to incorporate the dynamic “March Madness Meets Pitch Perfect” type 64 DJ bracket component.
The championship will run very soon with 64 top college DJ’s selected to compete head-to-head, based on a submitted video in 8 regions with rivalry matches, a mobile voting platform and celeb judges – the final rounds will be live head-to-head. There will be extensive publicity, like our recent NCPA College A cappella Championships www.npr.org/2020/12/09/944528472/four-teams-head-into-finals-of-the-collegiate-a-cappella-championship.
For context, UpStaged – and our NCPA – are the NCAA/ESPN of Student Performing Arts www.youtube.com/watch?v=-UbmCDR7fHg. We ask, why can’t the 2 million college performers compete for championships like the 480,000 NCAA athletes? UpStaged produced a spectacular Lincoln Center NCPA Step championships just before COVID: www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Vt7IQXdurI and recent NCPA A cappella Championships.
