“Telling our stories” is based on the Latino Roots in Lane County project where many life stories of Latino immigrants were recorded for an exhibit and a documentary film at the Lane County museum. Our mission is to bring out community voices that may not often be heard.

The Latino Roots project keeps growing and currently has a traveling exhibit, a booklet, and two documentaries. For more information, click on the link above.

 

Oregon Folklife Network http://ofn.uoregon.edu/

The mission of the Oregon Folklife Network is to make a meaningful difference in Oregon communities and Tribes by documenting, supporting, and celebrating our diverse cultural traditions and by empowering our tradition-bearers. The OFN conducts folklife fieldwork and sponsors statewide activities to increase public awareness of the significance of living cultural heritage.
