What is the “Telling our stories” Toolkit?

The “Telling Our Stories” Toolkit provides a guide to resources and advice for gathering, documenting, preserving, and sharing the stories of YOUR community. Whether it’s a blog about your sports team, a collection of family photos and stories, a mural in your classroom, or a photo journal of your fashion club, you’ve got stories to tell, and people want to hear them!

Why a Toolkit?

Telling stories is exciting and fun. Tools for recording and publishing should be accessible to anyone who wants to tell their personal, family, or community stories. This Toolkit is designed to be a user-friendly hub that connects beginners and experts alike to a vast network of storytelling resources, so you can get on with the fun part of telling your stories!

Everyone has a story worth telling, so why not record it and share it with others? Let’s get started!
