When given the task of finding a blog that interested me my thoughts immediately went to hockey. So when I googled Hockey blogs and started reading them i came across this blog about Teemu Selanne, one of the greatest players in NHL history and about his top 8 moments in his career. Reading about my idol and all of his accomplishments really made me think about my playing career and what hockey means to me. What really made me think is that Selanne retired last year at the age of 43, and he was still one of the fastest guys on the ice. He holds the rookie scoring record that may never get beaten with 132 points his rookie year. He will go down as one of the greatest players in the NHL and this tribute is amazing.

Reflection:
While doing these assignments over the past few weeks I have gained a new appreciation for art and when I go back to my first post I really understand the art behind it. I now am more familiar with what art is and how even someone playing a sport can be considered art. The way Teemu plays the game of hockey truly is an art because no one else at his age could skate with the young players in the league, but not only could he skate with them he can out skate them. As a hockey player I can truly say that he is one if not the most technically sound players in the league’s history and I wish I could emulate his technique. I chose this article mostly because of how much I love hockey and what it means to me and how a true talent in a sport can be an art form to those who understand the game and what it takes to make it to the top.
This artifact helped me fulfill the objectives by giving me an insight to the course and what is expected of me. I think it also gave other members of my group an insight into who I am and what I appreciate in life. This assignment also gave me a sneak peak into the world of bogging and the technical aspects behind it. This assignment also pushed me to think more about something, dig deeper than the surface and discover its true meaning, or at least what I consider to be its true meaning. I realized that I had to put more effort than just bullsh***ing the assignment.
Future:
Because of this assignment and artifact I can now look at the world differently and appreciate more than just acting as an art but also talent from all aspects of human beings such as sports. This has also given me more drive to dig deeper into things and not just see the surface of an idea.
