Our Mission Statement 

Techie Teachers is a resource for educators to intertwine history lessons and computer science skills together while teaching computational thinking. This website includes five lesson plans for middle schoolers with corresponding handouts, rubrics, and activities for teachers to adapt for their own classroom. The goal for this website is to display ways in which computational thinking can be incorporated into lesson plans while teaching students the Washington State history standards. These lessons are intended for students and teachers who are new to using the Scratch program.
