Research Interests:
Ice sheet and iceberg/ocean interactions, fjord circulation, remote sensing (multispectral imagery, stereo imagery, Lidar), structure from motion.
I plan to use a combination of observational records of water properties, tracking histories from GPS mounted icebergs, remotely sensed data, and modeling to investigate whether the freshwater input from the melting of icebergs within fjords affects the stratification and circulation of water within those fjords.
