My Summer Plans
Hey y’all! With 5 weeks left of school, summer is quickly approaching. This week’s post will discuss my summer plans. To start off the summer, I will have a job in the Sierra mountains for six weeks in the summer as a camp counselor. I am assigned to the Waterfront area and will teach classes and lifeguard during the scheduled free-time each day. This will be my fourth year at the summer camp and I love the camp because the location is beautiful. In fact, Lake Huntington is one of the best sailing lakes in the world.
I will come back from summer camp and then I will pack my bags to study abroad in London for four weeks. I am super excited to study abroad because it has been a long time since I have been in the UK and I have relatives in London who I haven’t even met. What is cool about the program is that I will be taking two classes with the same group of people. The first class is led by UO faculty teaching Social Entrepreneurship and then another class about theater. While in London, I am excited to meet new people and travel around Europe. One of the places I really want to go to is Paris.
Because summer can be so long, I suggest you should spend time with friends and or family to pass the time. Or, you can learn something new.
Here is a post about how to overcome Summer Boredom.
