In this week’s movie “Love Come Back” the whole idea of the movie was about Rock Hudson, even the reading for this week was about him. First of all, in the movie “Love Come Back” Rock Hudson played a rich man who loves to sleep and have any women that he wants. Moreover, he is able to trick women just so he can get what he wants from her, as he did with Doris Day in the movie. Where he was trying to do everything that he could just to let her fall for him and get what he wants from her, even though at the end of the movie they loved each other and agreed to marry each other. 

On the other hand, this week’s reading “Dyer Rock Hudson” at the beginning of the reading the author was talking about some of the movie’s sense that Rock Hudson appeared in the women fur coat and the two men who were always looking at Rock Hudson behavior in the movie. However, the author was also talking about Rock Hudson as being a gay and how he did not look like a gay in the movie or even did something that makes people feel that he is a gay in his real life. Moreover, the author mentioned that Rock Hudson did a great job by taking character that is not even close to his real life; which is being the man who love having sex with beautiful women while in his real life he is gay. In other words, people were surprised by how the image and the performance of Rock Hudson was completely different from what he really is and how he did not show them anything that can makes them feel that he is a gay. Also, the author mentioned that in the 1950’s and 1960’s being a gay have a certain style and look that everyone can tell that his person is gay, even from their eye look, the way that they walk, they way that they talk, or even the way that they look at something and that was not on Rock Hudson; which makes everyone surprised about him being a gay. Moreover, even in the magazine and short films, the picture of being a gay was not in Rock Hudson at all. 

However, in the reading the author was also trying to focus on one thing beside Rock Hudson being a gay; which is that Rock Hudson had AIDS. for Rock Hudson being a gay lots of people where talking that it is something that is associated with being gay is to get sick and get AIDS. As a final point, Rock Hudson after all was a really great actor because he did not give the audience a chance to figure out and know what he is in his real life. A good actor is the one who can make people believe what they are seeing, and for Rock Hudson he makes people believe that is it no way that he is a gay from his performance in his movies.

However, one time it happens to me too, when I was watching a TV series and after I watch the whole seasons for multiple time I did not notice that one of the actors was gay.  The TV show was “How I met your mother” where Neil Patrick Harris was played the character of the man who love women and the most important thing for him is to sleep with as many women as he can no matter what. moreover, I did not even thought of Neil Harris is gay in his real life, and that because he played his part of the show in a really good way that he did not make people feel that he is a gay in his real life.
