The University of Oregon has a myriad of programs and services to support diversity and create a welcoming environment. Provided are a list of University offices and student groups that exist as resources to help all students excel.

Accessible Education Center
The Accessible Education Center offers an inclusive environment dedicated to providing the accommodations and resources students across a wide range of disability may need to be successful.
Office of Equity and Inclusion
The Office of Equity and Inclusion operates as a hub of information and services dedicated to supporting equity, inclusion and diversity at the University. It is comprised of several units:
Center for Multicultural Academic Excellence
The mission of the CMAE is to develop and implement programs and services that support retention, academic excellence, and success at the UO and beyond. The offer a variety of services such as academic advising, events, and scholarships.
Multicultural Center
The MCC is a hub of activism, connecting students of all races and backgrounds to encourage collaboration around diversity programming and education.The MCC accommodates meetings of student unions, educational and cultural workshops, guest speakers and artists, art displays, spoken word events, hip hop concerts, etc.
Center On Diversity and Community
CoDaC sponsors a range of programs for individual faculty, graduate students, alumni and staff as well as capacity building initiatives with departments, colleges, schools and research units across campus.
Office of Investigations and Civil Rights Compliance
The Office of Investigations and Civil Rights Compliance (OICRC) offers the UO community a place to discuss and report issues, concerns, and conflicts regarding discrimination and harassment, including sex or gender-based harassment, stalking, bullying, or violence in accordance with university policy and federal and state laws.
UO Graduate School
The Graduate School works collaboratively with campus units and student organizations to promote the recruitment, funding, academic success, and professional growth of graduate students from a variety of backgrounds, including those historically underrepresented within research universities.
Many Nations Longhouse
The Many Nations Longhouse serves as a place of respite for American Indian students at the University of Oregon as they navigate their academic endeavors. Its mission is to provide welcome, respecting the diversity of numerous American Indian cultures and beliefs. The Many Nations Longhouse is a place of community, welcome, peace, harmony, cultural exchange, and of individual support.
Lyllye Reynolds-Parker Black Cultural Center
The BCC is a welcoming and supportive space that helps Black students harness the resources necessary to navigate their social, cultural, and academic experience.
Student Groups
CMiS
A Community for Minorities in STEM (CMiS) at the University of Oregon was established to promote the participation and success of minorities in the STEM field.
Womxn in Neuroscience
The mission of the Womxn in Neuroscience organization is to enrich science by providing support to womxn in neuroscience.
Society for the Advancement of Chicanos/Hispanics and Native Americans in Science
SACNAS at UO is here to provide a school wide supportive environment for students in STEM. Our priority is to build a mentoring program that will allow undergraduate students to feel comfortable asking questions about their major and seeking academic help.
AccessAbility Student Union
AccessABILITY Student Union is a cross-disability student group. We are students with disabilities and nondisabled allies who believe that disability can be a valued and celebrated part of identity and community.
Black Women of Achievement
The mission of Black Women of Achievement (B.W.A.) is to provide opportunities for social, cultural, educational, and physical development to women of color.
Graduate Student Association
The GSA is a group for all graduate students on campus to connect, share information, and work for the betterment of the graduate experience.
IMPACT
IMPACT is a peer-to-peer mentoring program for first generation college students and/or students from underrepresented communities.
LGBTQA3
The LGBTQA Alliance’s core purpose is to create opportunities for people to celebrate, appreciate, and affirm their whole selves.
Native American Student Union
The Native American Student Union (NASU) at the University of Oregon assists American Indian, Alaskan Natives, and Indigenous Peoples in maintaining cultural values while pursuing their educational goals.
Queer, Trans, & Intersex Students of Color
QTISOC creates community for Queer, Trans & Intersex students of color.
University of Oregon Women in Physics
University of Oregon Women in Physics aims to connect women and other gender minorities in different stages of their careers (undergraduate students, graduate students, postdoctoral researchers, and faculty members) in order to build a strong internal network and promote a sense of community within the UO physics department.
Women in Graduate Science
The Women in Graduate Science organization at the University of Oregon focuses on the development of women within interdisciplinary sciences to become successful scientists.
