SPUR Application

2025 Application is Open

Application Deadline Rolling admission begins in late January with a priority consideration for applications submitted by January 31st.  We will begin making offers of acceptance in February, and we will continue to review applications until all slots are filled, usually by late-March. We take great care to match applicants to the most suitable faculty and mentors, so you may hear from us later than March. Selection is based not only on personal qualifications, but also depends on the suitability of an applicant’s interests for participating laboratories, and the availability of positions in those laboratories. Please note that space is very limited.

Difficulty Submitting

If you have difficulty submitting this application online or need special accommodations, please contact us at spur@uoregon.edu. We recommend completing the SPUR application form in a separate word document and then entering your answers into the application form, as answers cannot be saved in the online form as a draft. This ensures that in the case of technical difficulties your answers are preserved. Due to the volume of applications we are unable to manually input individual applications.
