Winter term has started which means I spend my time during lectures thinking of photoshoot ideas for brands. An idea that came to me recently would involve an athletic brand. I would love to see it take place in a very simple room set up but with trophy cases and the model standing on a podium as if they won first place in an event. Having the room be filled with vintage trophies would create an oldie feel and mixed with the sleek athletic clothing would create a perfect balance. This juxtaposition of the vintage and cleanness vibe is an idea that I can’t get out of my head.

As a teenage girl who loves looking at brand’s instagrams, I am honestly getting bored. Everything is the same. Photoshoots feel too plain. Nothing seems creative anymore. Why would I follow Starbuck’s instagram when all of the photos are basic and boring. I want to see creative photoshoots that convey a message about the product and the aesthetic of it that isn’t simply done with the lighting of the photobooth room.
