Inspiration
For this performance footwear sketching exercise, I wanted to find inspiration from objects that are beautiful, yet contrast preconceived notions we have of sport product. These chair designs are minimalistic, borderline impractical yet create a sense of longing to interact with it. I felt this was a strong direction to take performance footwear and through my ideation I aimed to keep the themes of Plush, Dynamic, Folding materials, Circularness and Luxury at the forefront.
