Extract line-art from Rhinoceros

1. Use command Make 2-D Drawing (Type or find it by the drop-down menu of linear dimension)

2. When asked to choose geometry, select all parts of your design, then Enter.

Choose the desired views and other features such as Tangent Lines and Hidden Lines.

3. Hit Ok, the 2-D drawing will appear on the Top view.

4. Select all the lines generated and Export Selected as Adobe Illustrator File.

  • Sketch Pads (5 1/2 x 8 1/2 for thumbnail sketches, 9 x 24 for detailed sketches, letter size for line-art renderings)
  • Prismacolor PC935 Color Pencil
  • Manila Pattern Paper or other cardstock that is suitable for footwear pattern making.
  • Wide white(Cream) masking tape
  • *Craft foam for prototypes
  • Glue Gun
  • Leather threads and needle
