Welcome to my blog!

My name is Julie, I am a third-year undergraduate at the University of Oregon majoring in Geographic Information Science/Systems with a few minors on the side (environmental studies, computer science, mathematics, have you had enough yet?).

In this course I hope to gain a deeper understanding of the patterns and concepts that underpin spatial phenomena in our world.

This website is dedicated to my work done in Spatial Modeling (Geography 490). On the site, you will eventually find five tabs with five individual assignments contained within each. These assignments explore complex systems and emergent behavior through NetLogo’s modeling platform.
