All submissions are due by April 12th, 2021. The exhibit will go live on May 6th, 2021.

What can I submit? We encourage you to think of your experience(s), as an essay, a poem, a painting, a phrase, a drawing, a sculpture, song, musical composition, or any other artistic rendition that you can imagine, as long as it can be uploaded electronically for anonymous display. All submissions must be original content and will be posted anonymously. 

What are the submission guidelines? To ensure that this display contributes to the healing of all while simultaneously revealing some difficult truths of our experiences, SOURCE* requests that submissions adhere to the following guidelines.  

• Anonymity: Please protect your identity and refrain from including any information or images that identify members of the UO community. 
• Limited profanity: We realize in some submissions profanity may be present as a relevant component of a submission or a quote. Please note that in the event that certain profanity is used in a way that does not align with the goal of this exhibit, it may be redacted or edited.
• Not a substitute for grievances: The content of this exhibit is not intended to serve as a substitute for filing a specific formal grievance. In the event that you believe your experience warrants a deeper investigation, we urge you to submit your concern according to any of the university’s existing pathways: https://dos.uoregon.edu/concern https://investigations.uoregon.edu/
• Non-English submissions: In the event that your submission includes a language other than English, we will do our best to find an interpreter who can reliably review to ensure that the content meets the submission criteria. 
• Hateful Rhetoric or Political References: To ensure that this can be a place where individuals can learn and heal, please limit any hate speech or political references solely to recounting incidents that may have occurred in the past and that we hope to not replicate in the future.

Each submission will be reviewed by two senior members of SOURCE. Submissions will be considered on a case-by-case basis, and in some instances, redaction or edits may be necessary in order for the art to be displayed. I am ready to submit.
