Socioecological Resilience

Search for:

The 2020 wildfires near Eugene, OR (~5,000 km2 burned, 3,000 structures destroyed, 11 fatalities, and $7-$13 billion in losses to homes and belongings) illustrate how forest disturbance can set back sustainable development goals regionally. This project captures a slice of socioecological succession in the region as a measure of community resilience.
