- What: Assist with Summer Daycamps, share music and art with kids
- When: Summer Term
- Where: Alton Baker Park (near the UO)
- Why: Get field experience, share your passion, develop leadership skills, spend time outside, meet awesome people, have fun!

- Attend Nearby Nature’s Summer Daycamps Info Night: Wednesday, May 30, 6:00-7:30 pm at Nearby Nature’s yurt in Alton Baker Park. Not required but highly recommended. Contact us prior to this meeting if possible, especially if you can’t attend. We still want to hear from you!

Quick Summary of Nearby Nature Internships and Volunteer Positions
1) Summer Daycamp Interns and Volunteers: Help at daycamps with everything from hikes and bike rides to earth art and bug catching. M-F, one week at a time, 4-8 hours per day. Training provided. Interns 60-120 hours total. Volunteer time commitment varies.
3) Spring and Summer Learnscape Garden Interns: Learn about soil, perennials and annuals, crop rotation, companion plantings, bugs, weeds, native plants, composting, and more. No experience necessary, although welcome. Training provided. Interns 6-12 hours per week.
4) Summer Musicians, Artists and Canoe helpers: Help us bring music, art and creativity into camp by sharing your talent with kids! Join us for pre-scheduled canoe trips in Alton Baker Park. Contact us for specific dates for canoeing.
