Definitely push for each tree species it’s water need, light/sun, height and width, leave type, branch structure, shade ability, flowering with season, color in fall, would the leaves move in wind, season and color of flowering. Pests that attack them. Flood tolerant. Water need by amount and duration as discussed. Do they propogate on their own well? Tolerant to air pollution?
All of this relates to how people and animals will interact with them.
I would start with a spreadsheet for the data above them go to an ecological timeline with graphic symbols.
