Term 1 Final Review Post
An evolving economy demands a new understanding of workspace. Mass timber, an indicator of a changing environment and economy, is the means by which that space can be made and allows for a reinterpretation of the building type. Situated in the what will soon be a strong Pacific Northwest urban employment center, this building is an expression of evolving timber tectonics, changed ways of working, and forward looking civic learning spaces.
