I like Peters reference to Jeff Kipnis’s three tenants: concept, the phenomenalogical (“affect”) and the performative (ex. Thermodynamics of Abalos).

The “berlin project” refers to Peter Eisenmann’s Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe (seen in the featured image) – an amazing experiential and conceptual piece. And yet H+dM work is often considered more sensually developed (ex. DeYoung, Barcelona Forum, Dominus Winery) that is quite visual but maybe occupiable visual affect.
