Welcome to day 3! Today for 10 minutes bring back out the EdBlocks papers to refresh students on the programming for squares.For the next 5 minutes instruct students to form groups and grab computers (group number will depend on number of students in class). For the next 15 minutes computers will be brought out for the students to work hands-on with the EdBlocks program. instruct students that they will be able to create any program they want with their group.For the next 20 minutes students will share their creation with the class. Once everyone has shared introduce the term “infinite loop”, ask students what they think it means. Once students have shared their thoughts, explain the definition. it is helpful if you show the students the “infinite loop” block on EdBlocks so they know how it looks. Afterwards show the students a program using the “infinite loop” block, this should take 10 minutes. get ready to watch your students be amazed!
