Welcome! I am a M.S. student at the University of Oregon studying geomicrobiology with Qusheng Jin. I am specifically interested in bioremediation of groundwater. Have you thought about microbes today? I have! I am exploring various gene modeling techniques to learn more about prokaryotes and their role in aquatic environments. By understanding and modeling important cellular processes, we can predict bacterial/archaeal population behavior that will ultimately have important impacts on our understanding of groundwater systems.
