New Finding Aids

We are pleased to announce newly updated finding aids now available on Archives West for the following collections:

Louis Conrad Rosenberg collection, circa 1900-1970 (Ax 509)

Collection comprises papers of American etcher and architect Louis Conrad Rosenberg, and includes matted etchings, dry points, watercolors, journals, catalogs, architectural renderings, awards, books from his personal library, and information from interviews.

Ruth Epperson Kennell papers, 1915-1970 (Ax 872)

Ruth Epperson Kennell (1889-1977) was an author who has a long and varied career, which included many years spent in the Soviet Union. The collection includes book manuscripts, short stories, screenplays, magazine articles, and general correspondence. Kennell was secretary to Theodore Dreiser.

Civil War letters collection, 1863-1864 (A 255)

The Civil War letters collection contains six letters written by three different Union soldiers to family members. This collection was artifically compiled by Mrs. Keith Brunig of Eugene, Oregon in the late 1960s.

Glenn May research collection on the Philippine American War, circa 1898-1899, 1980s (Coll 496)

Glenn Anthony May is a professor of history at the University of Oregon. His research collection includes primary source material and research data for his book Battle for Batangas.
