This website aims to provide teachers with the tools necessary to teach ScratchJr to elementary school students. ScratchJr is ideally targeted towards lower grades, but we specifically targeted our lesson plan for first grade. Each lesson teaches a different aspect of ScratchJr, and by the end of the lessons, students should be able to create their own projects on the ScratchJr app. Students will learn to explore and create using technology while practicing how to program. We hope by the end of the end of this introductory computer science lesson, students learn to enjoy and continue to want to learn to code in the future.
