Lifetime Achievement Award – Charles Kimmel
I was very happy to see that Charles Kimmel (UO Emeritus Professor – Biology), a retired board member of the Eugene Natural History Society where I am a current board member, received the Oregon Academy of Sciences’ Life Time Achievement Award for 2019 at the annual meeting of the OAS last Saturday at Linfield College. Wow! Also in the picture on the left is the 2019 OAS President Andrew Baggett, a past University of Oregon Ph.D. graduate student in chemistry.
