ARLISS Robots & Rockets
This fall members of the University of Oregon ARLISS team ( A-Rocket-Launch-for-International-Student-Satellites ) had a successful deployment of their rover from ~12,000 ft in the Black Rock Desert of Nevada. Eight of the 10-person team are shown here. A video of the event can be found on YouTube here.
Many thanks got out to the Bryan Rebar/UO STEM CORE, the Knight Library, Lorry I. Lokey, and the Richard and Mary Corrigan Solari Library Fellowship Award for funding that made all of this possible!
