We are very excited to bring together the Cultural Forum and Student Activities and Resource Center to give you the Center for Student Involvement (CSI). The new program maintains a student centered focus and the beloved events of its parent programs.
What we do:
The Center for Student Involvement (CSI) fosters student organizations and activities that enliven UO traditions, engage students in identity development and contribute to a positive campus community. There are two primary ways CSI fulfills its goals 1) creating and facilitating resources and 2) supporting the Student Activities Board.
CSI resources include services, supplies and a physical space that contribute to the success of student organizations. It offers tools to organizations at every level from advising students who are creating new organizations to checking out equipment for historical annual events. The unique space may be utilized by any student organization and specifically houses the Student Activities Board (SAB). Seven teams form the SAB: BE Series, Connect the Ducks, Ducks After Dark, Fishbowl Fridays, Queer Film Festival, Visual Arts and Willamette Valley Music Festival. Each team contributes to a well-rounded offering of activities that enriches the overall student experience.
