Dr. Nick Perdue

Nick earned his PhD in Geography in 2016, working with Amy Lobben and Chris Bone.  He is currently an Assistant Professor of Geography at Humbolt State University where he teaches classes in Cartography and Advanced Cartography.  His research interests include urban mobility, transportation systems, accessibility, and placed based human-environment relations.  His newest project proposes new ways to represent and understand historical, cultural, and social elements in climate change maps as a way to help us understand more broadly what is at risk and what could be lost in the near future
