I had the pleasure of producing the 2024 Fiesta Bowl on KWVA 88.1 radio, the final KWVA call for my head sports director and good friend Ryan Milano. There were many records set at the end of Oregon’s 12-2 2023 season, and perhaps the most impressive was Bo Nix setting the national all-time record for single season completion percentage. This was the play that did it (at the time; he later fell under but recaptured it), and it resulted in one of the best calls of Milano’s budding career. As the studio producer, I cut this highlight and many others during the game and posted it on SoundCloud and Twitter.
