We survived an intensive Orientation Week, and I hope that everyone is ready for classes to start.

|
YOSA LUCÍA VIDAL (PhD in Romance Languages, 2023) has been awarded a Project Development Grant for 2024 from the prestigious ACLS (American Council of Learned Societies). Yosa’s project, “Graphic Violence: The Creation of a Visual Archive in the Southern Cone”, draws on her expertise in Memory and Comic and Indigenous Studies.

Help four displaced Gazans attend UO
|
Thanks to the UO’s new International Crisis Scholarship Fund, we are working to bring Palestinian students whose university programs were abruptly cut short due to the war in Gaza to study at the University of Oregon. Once the $250K fundraising goal is met and visas are secured, they will travel with their families to resume their educational dreams. Link to donate: International Crisis Scholarship Fund
