Research Interests: structure from motion, GIS, remote sensing, cartography, and fluvial geomorphology.
I am a returning Master’s student and native Oregonian. My background includes a spattering of psychology, GIS, cartography, remote sensing, and graphic design. This has allowed me to pursue a variety of passions through a multidisciplinary lens. I became interested in Structure from Motion after taking a Remote Sensing course at the University of Oregon. Using traditional historic air photos, LiDAR, and current digital photography, I hope to examine the effects of vegetation on the South Fork Toutle River formation after the last eruption of Mount St. Helens in 1980.
