Our mission in 2020 is to assist with the development and implementation of a pollinator management strategy on the organic blueberry farm at Whitewater Ranch. Additionally, we will research and recommend a pollinator certification program that helps the ranch to market its product as pollinator friendly, as a direct result of the implementation of pollinator friendly practices.

Though our original aim was to continue and adapt the riparian monitoring protocols set forth by previous ELP teams, we have shifted our focus in light of the COVID-19 epidemic to accommodate remote collaboration within the team and with our community partners.

Despite this hurdle, we will uphold the core principles of the Environmental Leadership Program by working with our community partners at Whitewater Ranch to strengthen the farm ecosystem through the lens of conservation science.
