Complex Computer Intelligence

The web is an amazing source we use to do many things. The web can be used to make artistic designs and patterns that we all find interesting. The articles also talked about how different sizes of pixel and screen resolution matter when we do things. I think the web is a lot more complicated than we realize.

One new thing I learned was when we did the breathing activity. I thought it was really interesting and it helped me relax my mind and not worry about anything at the time.
One thing I might apply to my project is how you can take 1 image and focus your brain and eyes on it and you can actually see 2 images. I thought that was very interesting as well.
I think something that I could apply to life is the breathing exercise because if you are really stressed out you can use it to relax yourself and use it as a reset to refocus.

Reading Response: I think in the reading when they talk about how studying art can really help in school. They said that art practice can transform research in amazing ways. Art is a different way of showing something in a different way than words. Our brain processes that information differently I think and we can relate to it in different ways. So I think art can really improve the way we learn.

What interested me was when I was looking at the pictures, they all have very vivid colors and patterns that popped out. The patterns looked like it was something form in nature or a disease, which makes me want to learn more about it. Like what is it actually and how did they come up with the idea to create a painting of it.

Artist that I want to explore for final project:

Artist: Ned Kahn- I chose him because we just analysed on of his works and I researched more about him and he seems very interesting on how he uses nature in his works.
Paul Brown- I chose him because he uses a lot of vivid colors that stand out in his work.
Andy Goldsworthy- I chose him because I find it interesting how he uses science in his works.
