About Me

As a Pennsylvania native, coming out to the west coast to conduct research at UO has been a big change. For starters, I’m an avid Nittany Lions fan that’s now getting used to seeing green and gold everywhere and saying “Go Ducks” every Saturday. The entire atmosphere here is different and that’s what I love about Oregon. I’m looking forward to studying Earth Science in an area that sees the effects of Earth’s processes frequently.

I received a B.S. in Physics from Penn State University with minors in Mathematics and Geophysics and honors in Earth Sciences. It’s quite a mouthful, but basically I worked a lot with numbers and volcanoes. I plan on continuing to use these for my research and dip my feet further into coding.
