National PRSSA

University of Oregon Public Relations Student Society of America (UO PRSSA) is recognized by the national Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA). This means that as a dues- paying member students have access to the PRSA internship center, the opportunity to attend the national and regional conference as well as the resources to network with students and faculty across the country.

Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) is the foremost organization for students interested in public relations and communications. It seeks to advance the public relations profession by nurturing generations of future professionals. The national organization advocates for rigorous academic standards in public relations education, the highest ethical principles and diversity in the profession.

Worldwide, PRSSA is made up of more than 11,000 students and advisers organized into 300 plus chapters in the United States, Argentina, Colombia and Peru. It is headquartered in New York City, and led by a National Committee of PRSSA and PRSA members. The organization has a rich history of support from our parent organization, the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), which offers professional development, and networking opportunities for practicing public relations professionals
