Association of Fundraising Professionals, University of Oregon chapter (AFP)
AFP believes that to guarantee human freedom and social creativity, people must have the right to freely and voluntarily form organizations to meet perceived needs, advocate causes, and seek funds to support these activities. We are a group of undergraduate and graduate students who learn about and practice fundraising together—through activities such as educational speakers, networking with local professionals, and an annual fundraising project to benefit a charitable cause of our choice.

Emerging leaders in the Arts network (ELAN)
ELAN is a student-initiated organization committed to supporting prospective and continuing students – as well as alumni – through promoting constructive dialogue within the arts community and organizing related events and collaborative relationships reflective of the interests of current students. ELAN offers opportunities for students of all disciplines to discuss, contemplate, explore, study, debate, and promote art, creativity, and culture. As a collective, ELAN can be a supplemental source of knowledge, exchange, and professional development, providing a true forum for the continuation of the discussion that has been generated within classrooms, lectures, employment, internships, and life experiences.
