Welcome to the Physics Graduate Support Group (GSG)!
We are an informal support resource for physics graduate students. Our primary focus is to prevent and resolve issues related to student-faculty and student-staff interactions. Broadly we strive to help graduate students and to improve departmental climate.
Please contact us if you are facing any issue, have any concerns, or just want to talk!
Our members receive advice from university experts (typically, the UO Ombudsperson and/or the Chief Civil Rights Officer) when they join the GSG. Typically we also help by guiding students in seeking help from other resources in the department or the university.
